As such we hold client contact details and the history of our client relationship. This allows us to manage our client relationships effectively and target items of interest so that you do not receive unwanted material through the post. In accordance with your rights under the Data Protection Act 1988, you may request the amendment of the personal information held or to cease receiving direct marketing materials. Helpsme does not sell, rent or deal in the personal information we hold with third parties.
When you volunteer your personal data when you request to go onto our mailing list or sign up for one of our courses, in order to respond to your request we need to know your name, address and contact telephone number, and for the purposes of updating you by e-mail on information concerning our services and training courses, your e-mail address. We may use your personal data for research and development, customer administration and marketing. If you give us personal information about somebody else, such as a colleague, we will assume you have their permission to do so, and their data will also be subject to this policy. We totally respect the confidentiality of your personal data. We ensure that your personal data will not be disclosed to state institutions and authorities except if required by law or other regulation.
